BOILER SAND
Boiler sand is formed in dry firing boilers of modern power stations during
the combustion of the mineral rocks entrained in hard coal.
Alumino-silicates, which basically also form the crust of the earth, are
the main constituents of the porous boiler sand.
Advantages
- Low installation weight at high volume
- Good processing capability
- Environmental compatibility
- Cost-effectiveness
Areas of application
- Ground fillings
- Working area backfilling
- Soil improvement
- Cable sand
- Dyke piling
- Noise protection embankments
Through the employment of boiler sand, natural resources can be protected and energy saved for the production of comparable building materials.
